The edge polishers of the Lola series are built up of a very sturdy steel structure, fully machined, sandblasted and given a galvanizing epoxy resin based undercoat. All the casings and bolts are in stainless steel.
The LOLA 400 polishes to a mirror finish straight marble and granite edges up to 40/60mm thick, using 4-10 mobile* frontal units capable of compensating possible cutting defects.
A light rocking and balanced movement of the frontal groups allows the abrasive wheels to keep constant contact with the edge thus exploiting to the full their grinding and polishing properties.
The conveyor belt is guided and runs over a wear-resistant stainless steel surface for its full length, close to the pressure units. In this way maximum stability of the slab during the job is obtained.
The extension and starting of the motors is automatically controlled by a series of limit switches which get activated when the slab passes. Each abrasive group has an independent and adjustable pneumatic working pressure.
